What We Collect, And Why.

When you place an order: your name, business name if you give one, delivery address, phone number, email address, the date and start time of your event, the type of location we are delivering to, any delivery instructions you add, and the details of what you hired.

When you contact us: the name, email address, phone number and message you send through our contact form, or by phone or email.

Automatically, when you browse: your IP address, device type, the pages you visit, the website or search engine that sent you to us, and similar technical information. If you add something to your cart we record that cart, along with the technical details above, so we can understand where people get stuck in the ordering process. Cart records are deleted automatically after 90 days unless they became an order.

Payment: we accept direct bank transfer before the event and cash on delivery. We do not collect or store credit card numbers on this website.

To take your booking, deliver and collect your hire equipment, and contact you about your event.

To issue tax invoices and keep the financial records the law requires us to keep.

To schedule our deliveries, which includes adding your booking to our internal delivery calendar.

To answer your enquiries, and to understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share only what is needed with:

Our own staff and delivery drivers, so they can deliver and set up your hire. Google, through Google Analytics for website statistics, and Google Calendar, which we use to schedule deliveries. Our web hosting, website backup and email delivery providers, who store the information on our behalf. Our accountant, and any authority we are legally required to disclose information to.

Our website uses cookies to remember what is in your cart, to keep your session working while you check out, and for website analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and checkout will not work properly without them.

Order and invoice records are kept for at least seven years, as required by Australian tax law. Website enquiry emails are kept while they are useful to us. Abandoned cart records and the technical information attached to them are deleted after 90 days. Website analytics data is held by Google under their own retention settings.

Our website runs over a secure encrypted connection, access to our systems is limited to the people who need it, and we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
