Booking and delivery
Getting It To You
What does delivery cost?
A flat $40 on orders over $150 to most of greater Brisbane, or $80 to north Brisbane. It is charged once per booking, not per item. Orders under $150 are pickup only, from our Yatala depot.
Is an overnight hire a one day hire?
Yes. We deliver one day and collect the next. That counts as one day.
Can you collect at the end of the night?
Not as standard — we collect the next day. Same night collection can sometimes be arranged but it means putting a second driver on, so it costs extra.
Do you deliver on public holidays?
Not always. Over Christmas and New Year it is pickup only from Yatala, and the Christmas period carries a holiday surcharge.
Do you carry it up stairs?
The driver is on his own, so delivery is ground level within about 10 metres of the van. He will put things where you want them wherever it is safe to. Stairs and upper floors cost extra and need to be flagged when you book.
Does it come assembled?
Yes, everything arrives assembled and working. Large or awkward installs can attract a setup fee.
The equipment
Using The Gear
Can the equipment go outside?
Yes, as long as it is under cover and cannot get wet. That is for your safety as much as for the gear. The photo booth and the light-up numbers are indoor or fully undercover only.
Do you supply someone to run it?
No. Everything we hire is straightforward to use, and the jukebox and photo booth are touch screen. If you want someone on site, ring us and we will talk about it.
What if something breaks?
Check everything when it arrives and tell the driver straight away if anything is missing or not working. Once it is with you, you are responsible for it until we collect it.
How far ahead should we book?
Spring and summer Saturdays go early, especially cocktail machines, photo booths and the milestone neon numbers. If you have a date, ring and we will hold it.
Cocktail machines
Mix, Flavours and Alcohol
Do you supply the alcohol?
No. We do not hold a liquor licence, so you supply your own spirits.
How much alcohol goes in?
Up to one litre of alcohol for every ten litres of mix. That is two 700ml bottles for a single machine, four for a double and six for a triple.
How many drinks do we get?
Roughly 100 drinks from a single machine, 200 from a double and 300 from a triple. Extra mix is $30 a bottle, which is another ten litres.
Can we pick our own flavours?
Yes, from a list of over 50. One flavour per tank — so a double machine means two flavours, a triple means three.
